HMS Ramsey badgeHer Majesty's Ship RAMSEY (pennant number M110) is the tenth of the Sandown Class of Single role Minehunters to enter service and the third Royal Navy ship to bear the name.

Constructed from a sophisticated modular process, Ramsey was built from glass-reinforced plastic by Vosper Thorneycroft (UK) Ltd at their Southampton yard and commissioned in June 2001.

Currently under the command of Lt Cdr Iain Cull RN, Ramsey has a complement of 34 officers and crew. Until early 2006 her home port was Portsmouth but she has now transferred to Faslane.

Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps badgeNumber 23 Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps KENT is based in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island on Canada's east coast.

A number of our cadets visited Canada in 2007, spending time in Halifax (Nova Scotia), HMCS Acadia and, of course, Prince Edward Island itself. You can read a brief diary on our RCSCC Kent page.
